Hello! My name is Stephanie Hart, and I teach 6th grade Science and middle school Psychology at STEM School Highlands Ranch. This will be my 7th year teaching science.
I grew up outside of Philadelphia, and earned my undergraduate degree in Geospatial and Environmental Analysis from Virginia Tech. During my time at college, I studied abroad for a year in New Zealand to study forestry and experience the culture down under. It was one of the best years of my life! After working in Alexandria, VA, I moved to Colorado and have been here ever since. From working as a ski instructor in Telluride to earning my Masters degree in Education from CSU, I’ve spent the last 9 years gaining valuable teaching experience in many different ways.
The reason I am a teacher is to positively influence the next generation. I absolutely love spending my time everyday with the students, helping to shape their future and deal with the challenges ahead.
In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my husband, little man Crosby, and my pets. My hobbies include skiing, crocheting, and doing crafts in my time off during the summer.
