About Me

Hello! Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year!
 
I am thrilled to be continuing my role as Assistant Director of Student Experience at STEM School Highlands Ranch. I taught high school Spanish at STEM for four years and am now entering my second year as an administrator.
 
In my current role, I mainly focus on the following tasks/responsibilities:

Liz Dougan earned her Master’s in Educational Leadership from Colorado State University Global Campus in 2018. Ms. Dougan has worked as an administrator at STEM School Highlands Ranch since completing her principal internship and Colorado principal license in 2018. 

 

Prior to working in administration, Ms. Dougan taught High School Spanish at STEM from Spring 2015-Spring 2018. Before joining STEM, Ms. Dougan taught High School Spanish at the Academy of Charter Schools from 2013-2015. Prior to teaching High School in Colorado, Ms. Dougan taught college-level Spanish at Ouachita Baptist University and the University of Central Arkansas (2010-2013).

In addition to a Master’s in Educational Leadership, Ms. Dougan holds a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Spanish from the University of Central Arkansas. Ms. Dougan is licensed as a K-12 Spanish Teacher and K-12 Principal through the Colorado Department of Education.
