I have been a middle school counselor at STEM since August 2014. Over the past 5 years I have had the opportunity to work with and support so many of our incredible students. My goal is always to connect with as many students as I can and provide the guidance needed to have the utmost educational experience.
Prior to joining the STEM faculty, I worked as a school counselor for an on-line high school, since moving to Colorado in 2010. Although I learned quite a bit and had many successes, I ultimately wanted to be back in the "brick and mortar" school setting. Before moving to Colorado, I was working in New York, where I was born and raised. I spent 4 years, as a counselor, working with students in grades K-8.
When I am not working, I spend the majority of my time with my family-my husband and 2 boys, ages 5 and 3. They keep me quite busy! I also enjoy traveling to New York to visit family and friends.
I am excited to continue working with the students and families of STEM and am here to offer support in any way that I can.
