"On your journey through life, make sure your biography
has at least one extraordinary chapter." —Unknown
A Colorado native, I have been teaching high school students U.S. and world history for over 28 years. At STEM, I teach world history, archaeology and AP World History. I will also be the head coach for STEM's first-ever track & field team in the spring of 2020.
I graduated from Colorado State University in 1992 with a B.A. in history. Classes I have taught include: U.S. History, AP U.S. History, World History, AP World History, U.S. Foreign Policy, Psychology, and Geography. I coached cross country and track and field for the past 13 years, and look forward to bringing that knowledge and excitement to STEM.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife Kathy and our 3 1/2 year-old Labrador Retriever, Griffin. I enjoy running, skiing, road biking and trivia. I look forward to an exciting year at STEM!
