My name is Megan Lipe, if you want to know how to pronounce my name it is like "ripe" but with an "L". Physical education has always been my passion, I grew up as an athlete and a fitness enthusiast. I love to teach students about how to move their bodies to and learn skills that they can carry with them for a lifetime that can lead to a healthy lifestyle.
I grew up in Colorado and went to High School in Fort Collins, CO. I played many different sports but focused on softball in high school. As I have grown older I have found an interest in CrossFit, Functional Fitness and Yoga. I have also grown a passion for International sports, not commonly found in America. I take these skills and knowledge to share them with my students in our units.
I earned a Bachelors (BS) degree in Health and Exercise Science with a K-12 Teaching license at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO. This is my first year at teaching, however I have coached softball for 5 years, worked at summer sports camps, and worked in an administrative position at a summer camp in 2019.
I live with my three dogs and my boyfriend. We love to be active and try new things often and find new ways of being active. We have also found a passion for traveling around the world tasting amazing food, and meeting new people.
This is my first year at STEM, I am teaching Middle School Physical Education. I enjoy hearing from parents - you can reach me via email at email@example.com
. I look forward to working with your students and with you!
