This is my third year at STEM teaching High School Social Studies. I have been imparting my knowledge and passion in United States Government, World Geography, and AP Human Geography.
Before STEM, I worked in environmental labs testing primarily for trace metals in air, soil, coal, and yellowcake uranium samples. Prior to this, I was a travel agent setting up every kind of vacation dream from cruises to the Caribbean to safaris on the Serengeti in Africa. It was very rewarding to be part of so many adventures and helping people discover this magnificent planet we call home. I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Geography from the University of Wyoming.
Being able to teach my passion at STEM has been an incredible journey. Walking into my classroom you'll see maps plastering the walls showing unusual, exciting, far off places just waiting for an adventure.
In my spare time, I love to hike, camp, snowboard, and explore the wilds of Colorado and Wyoming with my dog Atlas. I also love to travel, whether it's to a thrilling new destination, or simply the local chocolate store.
